A week ago I attended jsDay, an international JavaScript conference in Verona, Italy. Hats off to the very well-organized event - maybe not so strange since the organizers have been hosting a yearly php-conference for almost 10 years. There was also no lack of very interesting people - met quite a few!

Having to constantly choose between the three tracks was quite painful since there was loads of exciting talks. I decided to stick around for everything on the topics of Node.js and working heavily with the client. Frameworks, rendering, large JavaScript code bases and tips and tricks for Node.js made the two days pass by way too quickly.
I held a presentation myself as well, on the topic of Writing RESTful web services using Node.js. It seemed to be well accepted and it’s always great to get the feedback. If you missed it out I’ve uploaded the slides here.
They might not make much sense without the narration and the top-adjusted layout was a venue-optimization, but all in the all I hope you find the material somewhat useful anyhow. Feel free to contact me if you’ve got any questions!
Also, I’ll be speaking on the same topic at Spain.js, which taking place 5-7 July in Madrid. Stay away from the slides and come join the session if you’re going to the conference, instead! :)

PS. Thanks to Nils Dehl for the great photos!
